(Chinas) Clusters of softly silvery-pink blooms open with a gentle, almost luminous blush and deepen enchantingly with age, perfuming the air with a sweet, persistent fragrance from early summer right through to winter's edge. Few climbers can match its exceptional continuity of flower, making it a generous and deeply rewarding presence on a sheltered wall. One of the oldest China roses in cultivation, Old Blush was among the first to bring the precious gift of repeat flowering to Western gardens.
