A beautiful rose

I was gifted this rose for my birthday as we share the same name. It’s a beautiful rose with a lovely light pink flower that’s pretty and delicate. I planted it in a pot and in its first year it has produced lots of lovely flowers and seems to be very disease resistant. I may have to move it to a border in the future as it grows but for now it’s a beautiful feature and the pictures almost don’t do it justice.

Lovely rose

I bought this rose a couple of years ago for my daughter who is called Beth and she had it on her balcony in London. It’s now temporary in my garden and in a pot and it has flowered beautifully. Smells delightful

Its billowing grey-green foliage softens bare rose stems, and its long flowering season keeps pollinators visiting long after the first flush of roses is over.

Frequently asked questions

Bare-root Our Beth roses are best planted during their dormant season, from November to March, which is also when we dispatch them. Potted roses are grown in containers and can be planted at any time of year — just avoid periods of hard frost or drought, and water thoroughly after planting.

Every rose we sell is covered by our 1-year Rose Guarantee, so you can plant Our Beth with confidence. See our Rose Guarantee page for the full details.

Often, yes — we grow our roses ourselves and stock varies through the season, so a variety that's sold out can come back. Use the "Notify me" button above to be emailed the moment Our Beth is back in stock.

Our Beth's mature growth range is 120cm x 100cm (4ft x 3.3ft). Growing conditions such as soil, sunlight, feeding and pruning can affect the final size, so treat this as a guide rather than an exact figure.

Shrub roses are a broad, informal group bred mainly for garden performance rather than a single flower shape — most repeat-flower generously, have good disease resistance, and combine well with other plants in a mixed border. They typically grow into a rounded, bushy shape rather than climbing or trailing.

Our Beth belongs to our Modern Shrubs group.
