(Rugosas) Large, cupped, fully double blooms of soft silvery-pink open in generous flushes from early summer through to autumn, carrying one of the most gloriously powerful fragrances of any rose in cultivation. The blooms possess an almost luminous quality, their silken petals catching the light with quiet elegance. Named in honour of the German landscape architect Conrad Ferdinand Meyer, this rose has earned an enduring place in gardens worldwide.
