(Rugosas) Bearing generous clusters of silken, mid-pink blooms with beautifully pronounced golden stamens, this free-flowering rose earns its keep across an impressively long season from June well into autumn. Its delicate fragrance is matched by handsome, feathery light green foliage that turns a rich tawny gold as the season closes, while bright orange-red hips add a final flourish. Named in honour of the distinguished rosarian and horticultural writer Hazel Le Rougetel, it is a fitting tribute to her considerable legacy.
