Its generous petals unfurl in a deeply layered rosette that makes it quite irresistible for cutting, while a rich, fruity fragrance fills the air throughout the long summer season. Lustrous, deep green foliage provides a polished backdrop to the delicate blooms.

Why grow this with The Enchantress?

  • Lavender

    Lavender

Why grow this with The Enchantress?

A classic rose companion: its silvery foliage and compact habit hide bare lower stems, and it shares roses' love of full sun and free-draining soil.

  • Allium

    Allium

Why grow this with The Enchantress?

Its architectural purple globes rise above rose foliage in early summer, and its onion-family scent is thought to help confuse pests that target roses.

  • Salvia

    Salvia

Why grow this with The Enchantress?

Its upright flower spikes contrast beautifully with rounded rose blooms, and it flowers for months, keeping colour going in the border once the first flush of roses fades.

  • Hardy Geranium

    Hardy Geranium

Why grow this with The Enchantress?

A low, spreading habit that shades the soil around a rose's roots, helping keep them cool while suppressing weeds at the base of the border.

  • Lady's Mantle

    Lady's Mantle

Why grow this with The Enchantress?

Soft, scalloped leaves and frothy lime-green flowers make an easy edging that catches morning dew and softens the front of a rose border.

Frequently asked questions

Every rose we sell is covered by our 1-year Rose Guarantee, so you can plant The Enchantress with confidence. See our Rose Guarantee page for the full details.

Often, yes — we grow our roses ourselves and stock varies through the season, so a variety that's sold out can come back. Use the "Notify me" button above to be emailed the moment The Enchantress is back in stock.

The Enchantress's mature growth range is 90cm x 90cm (3ft x 3ft). Growing conditions such as soil, sunlight, feeding and pruning can affect the final size, so treat this as a guide rather than an exact figure.

Hybrid Tea roses have the classic, elegant rose shape: large, high-centred blooms carried mostly one to a stem, ideal for cutting and for a more formal look in the garden. They typically repeat-flower reliably from early summer into autumn.
