(Chinas) A rose of exceptional exuberance, Gruss an Teplitz bears generous clusters of richly crimson blooms that deepen and intensify with age, creating a dramatic, ever-changing display from early summer well into the depths of autumn. Its powerful, spicy fragrance is among the most intoxicating of any repeat-flowering rose, making it a truly sensory presence in the garden. Named in honour of the Bohemian spa town of Teplitz — now Teplice in the Czech Republic — this rose has enchanted gardeners since its introduction in 1897.
