Potted roses are supplied in a 5.5 litre pot.

(Procumbent (Ground Covering Roses)) A vigorous sprawling rose of undeniable charm, Grouse produces an abundance of small, single, soft pink blooms borne in generous clusters, creating an almost froth-like carpet of colour across the summer and well into autumn. The sweetly scented flowers are set against exceptionally glossy foliage that lends the plant a polished, healthy appearance throughout the season.

Amazing

I bought this rose to fill the centre of an arbour. It has excelled itself. Now on it's second summer I have twined it up four sides of the arbour without the use of string etc. Very stable. It is now bursting into a blanket of flower. Has formed a solid circle flat at the base too. When fully out it will be the prettiest thing tinged pink and cream. Buying it was divine intervention. Your max measurement was wrong by the way,

Frequently asked questions

Bare-root Grouse roses are best planted during their dormant season, from November to March, which is also when we dispatch them. Potted roses are grown in containers and can be planted at any time of year — just avoid periods of hard frost or drought, and water thoroughly after planting.

Every rose we sell is covered by our 1-year Rose Guarantee, so you can plant Grouse with confidence. See our Rose Guarantee page for the full details.

Often, yes — we grow our roses ourselves and stock varies through the season, so a variety that's sold out can come back. Use the "Notify me" button above to be emailed the moment Grouse is back in stock.

Grouse's mature growth range is 60cm x 300cm (2ft x 10ft). Growing conditions such as soil, sunlight, feeding and pruning can affect the final size, so treat this as a guide rather than an exact figure.

Ground Cover roses have a low, spreading habit that hugs the soil rather than growing upright, making them useful for covering banks, edging borders or trailing over low walls. Most flower prolifically and need very little pruning.

Grouse belongs to our Procumbent (Ground Covering Roses) group.
