(Rugosas) Scabrosa bears gloriously large, single blooms of rich, velvety pinkish-mauve — each flower up to 13cm across — with a beauty that is both wild and commanding. Flowering with remarkable generosity from midsummer well into autumn, the display is followed by an equally impressive show of enormous, jewel-like crimson hips against handsome rugosa foliage. Powerfully fragrant, this is a rose of exceptional year-round presence.

Often, yes — we grow our roses ourselves and stock varies through the season, so a variety that's sold out can come back. Use the "Notify me" button above to be emailed the moment Scabrosa is back in stock.

Scabrosa's mature growth range is 180cm x 120cm (6ft x 4ft). Growing conditions such as soil, sunlight, feeding and pruning can affect the final size, so treat this as a guide rather than an exact figure.
