(Centifolias) An ancient variety of extraordinary beauty, this rose bears sumptuous, deeply cupped blooms of warm rose-pink, their frilled and densely layered petals creating a flower of remarkable fullness. Richly fragrant, it flowers in the classic high summer tradition of old roses, each bloom a testament to centuries of cultivation. The name pays homage to Pierre-Joseph Redouté, the celebrated botanical artist whose legendary illustrations immortalised the roses of his era.
