Potted roses are supplied in a 5.5 litre pot.

(Polyanthas and older floribundas) Clusters of semi-double, bowl-shaped blooms in a warm, glowing rose-pink open with exceptional generosity from early summer right through to late autumn, making this one of the most reliably free-flowering roses in cultivation. The flowers carry a rich, lingering fragrance that belies their delicate appearance, and the plant rarely pauses for breath between flushes. Named in honour of a member of the distinguished Dutch Nypels family, patrons of horticulture in the early twentieth century.

Frequently asked questions

Bare-root Nathalie Nypels roses are best planted during their dormant season, from November to March, which is also when we dispatch them. Potted roses are grown in containers and can be planted at any time of year — just avoid periods of hard frost or drought, and water thoroughly after planting.

Every rose we sell is covered by our 1-year Rose Guarantee, so you can plant Nathalie Nypels with confidence. See our Rose Guarantee page for the full details.

Often, yes — we grow our roses ourselves and stock varies through the season, so a variety that's sold out can come back. Use the "Notify me" button above to be emailed the moment Nathalie Nypels is back in stock.

Nathalie Nypels's mature growth range is 90cm x 90cm (3ft x 3ft). Growing conditions such as soil, sunlight, feeding and pruning can affect the final size, so treat this as a guide rather than an exact figure.

Floribunda roses produce large clusters of blooms on each stem rather than one flower at a time, giving a bold, continuous show of colour from summer into autumn. They're generally bushier and more free-flowering than Hybrid Teas, making them excellent for borders and bedding.

Nathalie Nypels is a Floribunda rose.

Polyantha roses are compact, hardy varieties that produce large sprays of small flowers almost continuously through the season. They were the forerunners of today's Floribundas and remain popular for low borders, edging and pots.

Nathalie Nypels is a Polyantha rose.
