(Floribundas (cluster roses)) A Peter Beales Roses introduction, this exceptional floribunda produces abundant clusters of shapely, rich copper-orange blooms with a strong, captivating fragrance, flowering prolifically from June well into late autumn. Set against lustrous, healthy dark green foliage, the blooms carry themselves on strong necks with an elegance that belies their generous abundance. Named in honour of Norwich's iconic medieval castle, this rose proudly celebrates the heritage of the city closest to our Norfolk nursery.

Frequently asked questions

Bare-root Norwich Castle roses are best planted during their dormant season, from November to March, which is also when we dispatch them. Potted roses are grown in containers and can be planted at any time of year — just avoid periods of hard frost or drought, and water thoroughly after planting.

Every rose we sell is covered by our 1-year Rose Guarantee, so you can plant Norwich Castle with confidence. See our Rose Guarantee page for the full details.

Often, yes — we grow our roses ourselves and stock varies through the season, so a variety that's sold out can come back. Use the "Notify me" button above to be emailed the moment Norwich Castle is back in stock.

Norwich Castle's mature growth range is 90cm x 60cm (3ft x 2ft). Growing conditions such as soil, sunlight, feeding and pruning can affect the final size, so treat this as a guide rather than an exact figure.

Floribunda roses produce large clusters of blooms on each stem rather than one flower at a time, giving a bold, continuous show of colour from summer into autumn. They're generally bushier and more free-flowering than Hybrid Teas, making them excellent for borders and bedding.

Norwich Castle is a Floribunda rose.
