(Hybrid Perpetuals) Deep, sumptuous blooms of rich carmine shaded to an almost black intensity give this Victorian rose a brooding, velvet-dark magnificence unlike almost any other. The large, cupped flowers are moderately fragrant and carried with impressive repeat through summer and well into autumn, ensuring a long and theatrical season of colour. A genuinely rare variety, available exclusively through Peter Beales in the UK.
