(Multifloras) Tausendschön — meaning 'Thousand Beauties' — lives up to its evocative name with generous cascading clusters of double blooms in soft, blushing pink that fade to an almost pure white at their centres, creating a wonderfully luminous, two-toned effect. Its vigorous, near-thornless stems are clothed in handsome glossy foliage, making it as pleasing to work with as it is to admire in full summer flower.
