(Bourbons) Luminous, semi-double blooms of vivid deep pink open with an almost translucent radiance, their loosely cupped petals exuding a strong, heady fragrance throughout the season. Remarkably free-flowering, this Bourbon continues to produce its generous clusters of colour from early summer well into autumn, a quality that sets it apart from many of its once-flowering relatives. A rose that richly deserves far greater recognition than it receives.
