(Hybrid Teas) A classic of the early twentieth century, Mrs Sam McGredy produces generously sized, shapely blooms in a warm copper-salmon pink, flushed with deeper rose tones that give the flowers a richly layered quality. Repeat flowering through summer and into autumn ensures a sustained display of considerable charm. Named in honour of the wife of the celebrated Irish rose grower Sam McGredy II, she remains a testament to a golden era of rose breeding.
