(Laevigatas) A vigorous and breathtaking climber, Cooper's Burmese produces generous clusters of large, single white blooms with a delicate creamy flush at their heart, each flower catching the light with an almost luminous quality. Flowering in glorious abundance through June and July, the blooms carry a pleasing fragrance that adds to the spectacle. This distinguished rose was introduced from Burma in the 1920s by Roland Edgar Cooper, a plant collector working for the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
