New to Roses

If you're new to growing roses, start here. These are naturally tougher, more forgiving varieties — ground-cover and patio roses like our Flower Carpet range — chosen because they cope well with a learning curve and still look good while you find your feet.

New to roses doesn't mean no effort: every rose here still needs regular watering, an annual prune and a feed to do its best. It just means we've picked varieties that are more tolerant of a newcomer than most, so a few mistakes along the way won't cost you the whole plant.
